By james
Connector has several nice features. Connector terminals are labled to help you keep power phases consistent. terminals are color coded for power, neutral, and ground. Insulator block is clear plastic which seems to be very rugged even though I initially thought otherwise and back of connector has rubber bladders to tightly grip cable jacket to make a good seal against water intrusion. A couple of comments: Strip length is not defined so use some scrap cable length before commiting your good cable for final termination, Also watch that you only strip the outer jacket to the minimum length you need so rubber bladders can do their job. If you lay things out you can prevent having to cut and re-terminate like I did on one side where I missed engaging the rubber bladder by just .25 inch, like I said....lay it out and test with a 3-4 inch piece of scrap before hand and you will be golden. One other issue is the keying of plastic housing....Keying is great but on the small side so you have to be careful you do put everything together properly.

By Philip Richards
I ordered this connector when I couldn't find one in any local Home Depot. This is exactly what I needed to make my own cable and was less expensive that in the store. The assembly is easy and it is a sturdy product.
